Everett and Annabelle

I'm really enjoying painting beach pictures this year, so I was very excited when I was contacted by Betsy for a "surprise" painting for her husband's birthday!  I thought this captured a really sweet moment.
Happy Birthday Christopher!

Cat Nap

More Tigger!  I started this painting at the same time as the last one of Tigger.  It's been very "therapeutic" painting him.  He'll stay with me in my studio and keep me company~!

Sleeping Tigger

We had to say good-bye to our sweet kitty last month and my son wanted me to paint another picture of him for his room.  He always napped in our front flower beds under the crepe myrtle tree, so I loved this picture with the sun catching just a bit of his face.

Gannon and Colton

My sister-in-law Nancy had me paint this portrait of my nephews, Gannon and Colton.  It was from an early evening photo shoot last fall and I love the warm colors in the sky.  They came out precious!

Building Castles

This is from a photo of me and my son, Alex, in Wrightsville Beach, NC, 4th of July weekend last year.  I painted it for my Mom's birthday in June, which we are celebrating this week.
Happy Birthday, Mom!

Outer Banks Fishing Pier

My husband took this photo last Thanksgiving of a man fishing on the Outer Banks Fishing Pier at milepost 18.5.   This was a peaceful scene in comparison to all the damage up and down the beach from a really nasty Nor'Easter that had wrecked havoc earlier in the month.

The Murr House

I painted this for my friend Leslie.  She has a beautiful house and I love how this turned out!

Feeling Crabby

My Dad celebrated his 70th birthday recently.  Unfortunately, we were unable to be at his "crab themed" birthday party, so we celebrated this weekend with our own "crab" for him!
Happy birthday Dad!
