Birthday Commission

My sister-in-law Nancy had me paint this as a special birthday present for one of her friends.  Such a thoughtful gift- I hope she enjoys it!

Beltie Facetime

More belties!  (Calloway cows, oreo cows, etc!)  I had actually started this painting about 2 years ago as a set of 3 the same size.  I finished the "Brown Beltie" a while back, and got on a roll recently with the other 2.  Here's the first one.  Of course, all the photos were taken at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC.

Looking Up

I love my chickadees!  Talk about stalking~ they don't even fly away now when I refill the bird feeder because they're so used to me... I snapped a shot of this little fellow in late winter/early spring of this year, before our cherry tree had bloomed.  Maybe I'll get some baby pics again this year???

Red Coneflower

So, while I was painting my step-mom's flowers, I decided to paint a single blossom too!  I love the contrast of the turquoise and red!

Red Coneflowers

I painted this as a gift for my step-mom's 60th birthday a few months ago!  I haven't painted any new coneflowers in a few years, and I always painted pink ones, so this was fun painting a red variety!
Happy Birthday Debbie!

Shell Seeker

The "stalk-a-razzi" strikes again!  This little girl was playing in front of us last summer and I knew I just HAD to paint that tutu!
